Another Late night, bad foresight,
pricey entry, nothing complementary,
sticky stained floor, queues galore.
Oh! How I’d rather be in bed!
Pushed side to side, an irritating beat,
ruined new shoes, cut up feet,
expensive drink, annoying DJ.
Oh! How I’d rather be in bed!
A missing earing, speech becomes mime,
overcrowded box, exit looks sublime,
walk home, forgotten coat,
At least I’m on my way to bed!
8 o’clock, early morning,
Wake up, lessons dawning,
new found hindsight, too late for warning.
Oh! How I wish I could stay in bed
